livin green

this is our new grocery getter! a very fun bike and a comfortable ride. we hope to use it for runs to the store or just around town. we are going to challenge our selves to see how little we can use our car. i want to see if we can go a week without driving.

well i thought i would show you some of the things i have been up to this spring. most of the garden is planted and things are just now starting to take off. i have seen some great growth already this past week as we have finally stated to have warm weather. if you have any garden ideas or tips please share. the bees are doing well and i hope to have a summer and fall harvest. 70-80lbs of honey would be great. they are doing an amazing job of pollenating the garden as well as the wild cherry trees in our yard. i am becoming like dad i could spend days working in the garden.

Wow! Crazy cool garden - I love it! I've only gotten mine to the point of being tilled... just have to weed and plant now.

Wow is right! You've been busy. Things look wonderful! It's such a work of art that it's too bad it's in the back where it can't be seen and admired by many. Then again, maybe it's better that it's in the back so people won't be tempted to help themselves with the produce comes.

Also cool wheels. It was fun to hear that you've alread "motored" to the grocery store and back. As I told Darcy, three things were accomplished...time for the two of them together, exercise and a protest of the high gas prices! Hurray!
